An ethical philosophy in which the happiness of the greatest number of people in the society is considered the greatest good. According to this philosophy, an action is morally right if its consequences lead to happiness (absence of pain), and wrong if it ends in unhappiness (pain).
Since the link between actions and their happy or unhappy outcomes depends on the circumstances, no moral principle is absolute or necessary in itself under utilitarianism. Proposed by the English philosopher-reformer Jeremy Bentham (1748-1832) in his 1789 book Principles Of Morals And Legislation it wasdeveloped by the English philosopher-economist John Stuart Mill(1806-73) in his 1863 book Utilitarianism.
“If we reason that we want happiness for others, not for ourselves, then we ought justly to be suspected of failing to recognize human nature for what it is and of wishing to turn men into machines.” ― Wilhelm von Humboldt, The Limits of State Action
The older I get, the more I like the idea of utilitarianism. I think that I'm not a trend-driven person. I really believe in keeping your canvas very basic and sort of adding the accouterments from there. I look at creating intrigue with outfits through accessories.

He was very skilled in utilitarianism, he believed that he could fix anything given a good box of tools and materials.
The last sentence is my favorite and my take for the C-Suitism. Give a man the right Tools, Techniques, Materials, Knowledge to use the tools and the motivation and opportunity - he/she can fix anything. In C Suite, many a times there comes a need for a 'Fixer' who can troubleshoot for the organisation. Such a person, is usually someone with an all-round experience - generally a GENERALIST :) !
